How to disable lock screen in windows 10

The Windows 10 lock screen is not absolutely necessary and can be disabled, but only by editing a specific key in the Windows Registry file One of the first aesthetic features a user sees when logging on to a computer running the Microsoft Windows 10 operating system is the lock screen. Typically, the lock screen displays a pleasant image, or perhaps the company logo, and then patiently waits for user input. To get past the lock screen and move on to the Windows 10 login screen, a user has to click, or swipe, or press Enter. The lock screen feature is not the worst user experience, but it is entirely unnecessary. Unfortunately, while there are several configuration settings available in Settings that users could use to modify what the Windows 10 lock screen displays and how it is configured, there is only one way to remove the lock screen completely and that is by editing the Windows Registry. This how-to tutorial shows you how to disable the lock screen in Microsoft Windows 10 by editing the Windows Registry file. How to do it: Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE / SOFTWARE / Policies/ Microsoft /Windows. If you don't already see a key named 'Personalization', select the Windows key, right-click it, choose NewKey and rename this new key to Personalization (sic). Right-click the Personalization key, choose New again then select DWORD 32-bit Value. Select New Value #1 in the right-hand pane and use F2 to rename it NoLockScreen, then double-click it, change the value data to 1 and click OK. After a reboot, the lock screen will be gone. that's it
